Kirby E La Stoffa Dell Eroe Wii Pal is a video game series created by Nintendo, and it is the third installment. There are some all-new characters as well as some returning ones. Kirby gets fused with his partner, possessing the ability to use all sorts of powers and there's also a new fairy character named Ribbon. This game is based on Kirby's Dreamland. Kirby E La Stoffa Dell Eroe Wii Pal, the name basically translates to "Kirby and The Hero's Clothes." Kirby is transformed into a mechanical man using the Kirby Kon (short for "Kirby Copy") Copy Ability soon after he wakes up in his bed. He is then greeted by Ribbon, a fairy maiden who takes him to the Wonderful Wood full of fairy warriors and there they encounter Dedede and King Dedede again. Ribbon offers to help him and together they fight off and destroy parts of the original copy ability machine while saving dancers from being sucked into it. Dedede and King Dedede catch up with them and Dedede tries to attack Ribbon, but Kirby steps in and takes the hit. Kirby then realizes that he still has the ability to suck in, but now he gains an extra form: a mechanical suit. After fighting off Lord Kawasaki and his minions, Dedede and King Dedede, along with Ribbon and Kirby ride off into space on a rocket to chase after the original copy ability machine. Kirby E La Stoffa Dell Eroe Wii Pal is mostly like the games before it. The player controls Kirby as he travels through various worlds making his way towards his goal to track down King Dedede (and Ribbon). Along the way players must destroy enemies and obstacles as Kirby does his typical inhaling, moving and spinning to get through levels. Kirby has a new ability called the "Kon Ability" which allows him to acquire different powers from various Copy abilities. These new abilities include: Sword, Yo-yo, Hammer, Jet, Fire and Rocket. The Kon Ability is obtained by hitting the heart shaped marks on walls (usually hidden off of the main path). Each Kon gives him a different power and appearance. With these powers Kirby can then use many new attacks such as the "5 Sword Slash" or "Circle Hammer". Also he can also triple jump into enemies to destroy them (he normally only does this with the Jet power). There are 150 stars needed to unlock the final level. Kirby E La Stoffa Dell Eroe Wii Pal received mixed reviews from critics with average scores of 67.00% on GameRankings and 65/100 on Metacritic. Many reviewers liked the game's visuals, ease of play, controls and "unique" story, but felt it didn't offer anything new or exciting to the series. Some critics also pointed out that the only changes made were only cosmetic ones—that is, they changed Kirby's abilities but not his mechanics.
